An amazing start to 2025, Live Wire were extremely pleased (as were we!) to announce we have been successful in winning the award for: Specialist catering company of the year 2025
In 2025 we were delighted to be invited back to in2beats Business Enterprise Show 106.5fm with Tony Catz for another full 2 hour interview, still available for download!
We have been lucky to be awarded "Recommended Restaurant" in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and again in 2025! nominations and inclusion is based solely on customer feedback and reviews so perhaps the most important of awards.
In time for Valentines day 2024, we were over the moon to be invited to write a feature article for the Herts & Beds Brides Magazine about wedding catering. Not just pie and mash, we were able to talk about our many wedding services.

In 2023 we were shortlisted for a SME Enterprise award, we didnt win that year, but still thrilled to be nominated in a strong company of other caterers!
2023 saw us nominated for, and winning, Best Pie & Mash Company 2023 - South England in the LuxLife Food and Drink Awards 2023
In 2022 we were considered in the category Catering Company of the Year 2022. We were thrilled to be picked as the 2022 winner! During the awards process over 90,000 businesses were asked to nominate companies & individuals based on factors such as service, innovation, experience, sustainability and other key criteria.​
In 2022 The London Pie and Mash Company Limited were among the years’ Managing Director of the Year Awards champions and were amazingly awarded: Catering MD of the Year 2022 (South East): Olac Coombs
In 2022 we were delighted to be asked to write an extensive article about pie and mash for the world-wide published Lonely Planets guide to England, published in 2023 the book is still available to buy on Amazon!
In 2017 we were shortlisted and won a SME Enterprise Award, Best Specialist Alternative Catering Company - London
In 2015, our 1st full year of trading, we were shortlisted for catering concession of the year at the UK festival awards, we didn't win, but to be amongst the top 10 of the country's event caterers was amazing!
